Definition of Tondo: A circular painting or relief.

A Tondoscope is a circular frame ratio, that to date has only been used in one feature film Lucifer (2014), but circular art has been around since the 15th century.

Who’re Cutting Teeth Collective?

Cutting Teeth is a diverse, inclusive group of cinematographers, committed to supporting the work of our community. Along with connecting cinematographers with a fast-growing network of creatives and hosting insight-driven events such as masterclasses.

What do they do?

Cutting Teeth hosts exhibitions, giving cinematographers a platform to explore creative ideas through the medium of photography and allowing them to find new collaborators.

Peter Riches and I, collaborated in producing all the promotional material for the event. Posters (physical & ePosters). postcards, social posts and signage.

Tondo was inspired by a number of art movements and creators such as Leonardo Di Vinci, Bauhaus, Dada, Cubism, Futura, architectural drawings, automotive diagrams, frame ratio references, Penguin books cover designs. The list goes on and on.
